It has a very nice smell to it and it really works well on extremely dry skin without being oily or sticky.

I live in Canada.. and so i was wondering where can i purchase mederma..I've tried walmart..pharma plus..even shoppers drug mart and they don't have it..
I'd also like to know has anyone used it..and what were the results with it.."used on stretchmarks"..was it worth it..

I am using it for stretch marks and I haven't seen huge results yet but if you read the directions, you need to apply the cream 3-4 times a day. I only apply it 2 times a day, if that because I have a 3 month old and lots more to deal with.

I am concerned with aging, yet I am prone to breaking out. I 'm scared to use something different that may cause breakouts. Im 29yrs old. I use cetaphil whick is great, but its not anti aging. Also, can I use the 2 together??

Does Skin cream expire after only 2 months?
Last year I bought some new-beaut (and expensive!) skincare stuff (exfoliant, moisturiser etc...) to get the Brad Pitt/David Beckham etc. look, but I didn't really use it. I'm planning to use it after I quit smoking (on new year's day!). The other day tho', a skincare girl told me it'll be no good anymore.

Our faces (men and women) are made of the same oils, cells, etc, so men can use the same products that women use. The only reason brands have a "mens range" is for marketing purposes - men would prefer to buy a black or blue bottle of face wash rather than a pink or cream one.
Just make sure he is using the right wash/moisturiser for his skin type - same as the ladies do! If it's oily skin, or dry, you have to buy the products specialised for oily, or dry skin, otherwise you are doing more damage than good.

If you are talking about less expensive products v. more expensive and famous brands, I think it all depends on what product we are talking about. Nivea is a great brand and has been around for ages. My grandma at the age of 97 had a spotless skin and she used Nivea all of her life. For Men's skincare, I suggest Loreal or Philosophy-

Reply:I'd imagine its the same for women's creams, some claim to reduce wrinkles more, stop the signs of ageing, or protect the skin from the sun etc. Most of which is not true, but they do help.
But its all down to personal choice, choose different products until you find the one that suits you best, and that my not necessarily be the most expensive.

Men literally have thicker skin than women so it matters less what you use. I find nutrimetics good, but a little dear. Just keep trying till you find a cheaper one you like, and visit the Vogue skin care forum for advice, it's really good.

Men literally have thicker skin than women so it matters less what you use. I find nutrimetics good, but a little dear. Just keep trying till you find a cheaper one you like, and visit the Vogue skin care forum for advice, it's really good.

Well last year 2007 on December6, I was bitten on my face by my dog on the right side of my face a little bit below my eye near my nose(right side). Since then I've been using Fred Summit's Ultra Blend%26amp;Tone cream. Instead of it blending my scar in with my skin tone it lighten up around my cheek. I have been also using Walgreens Scar Gel it haven't really been working. And I plan to go out of town on March20. But before I go I want this scar off of my face. So my question is does any one know any type of cream or anything that can quickly heal my scar? I do plan to go to the Dermatologist but I haven't scheduled a appointment yet. And or does anyone know any skin injection for scars? Well if you do please let me know.

Is that true that steroid cream caused skin discoloration?
I notice my butt skin color has changed to darker color as I had a problem with itchiness/ hives when last trimester pregnancy and my gynecologist gave me steroid cream repeatedly and didn't tell me that actually steroid cream only can be used a couple of time so I used it very often like 2 weeks whenever the itchiness started. It's not to make you a lighter skin color, just to even out your skin. It does have a bleaching agent in it, but I wouldn't say it is going to make you that light. avoid skin lightening cream with hydroquinone because they harm the skin in the long run.. try dermaline skin whitening cream and apply on the affected area...
Reply:My guess is to exfoliate your underarm area with a gentle granular scrub and then apply some type of soothing product over it. Usually the skin darkens because it's been irritated. I've used Ambi, on the areas of my skin where there's hyperpigmentation and it worked quickly. A product with Alphahydroxy Acid may help also. I think that Dark Opal carries a product which contains both alphahydroxy acid and hydroquinone (the lightening ingredient in Ambi).

Reply:My guess is to exfoliate your underarm area with a gentle granular scrub and then apply some type of soothing product over it. Usually the skin darkens because it's been irritated. I've used Ambi, on the areas of my skin where there's hyperpigmentation and it worked quickly. A product with Alphahydroxy Acid may help also. I think that Dark Opal carries a product which contains both alphahydroxy acid and hydroquinone (the lightening ingredient in Ambi).

None of the big drug store chains seem to sell it anymore. I found a company called The Science Company and bought a bottle. I did not know that there were different grades until the bottle was delivered and the label warned that the product was not for household use

I picked up a sample on Ebay about a month ago...There are people selling it on there off and on, just search under the name...Its alot smoother and absorbs better than Creme de la Mer I think...and its cheaper! :) But everyones skin is different...Just my two cents, but give it a try, its about 70 to 120$ for one I think....Hope that helps!

Eucerin cream is very good. Just remember not to put it on until all of the radiation treatments are over for good. If you put it on and go to a treatment, it will burn her. Also, ask the radiation nurse what she reccomends.

You should try the Mary Kay Velocity face wash and moisturizer. The face wash has helped me with my acne and the moisturizer does the job without adding extra oil to your face.

Is the skin cream Mederma effective for treating acne scars? And does it have any adverse side effects?

I don't know about Mederma, but there is two things I use to eliminate scarring. First, I use vitamine E oil, which keeps fresh scars from hardening up. If the scars are external, get the 1000 IU capsules and break one open and apply it to the scar every day for a week, every week for a month. Then, to totaly erase most scars I use arnica oil. Usually this comes in a dilute form (mixed with olive oil). This form is, in my opinion, too weak to be worth the cost. I get the arnica absolute from the essential oil company online. I use a toothpick to dip into the bottle and rub onto the scar. It takes time, but is quite effective. And, you don't need a prescription. A one dram bottle, while small, will last you six months to a year. I've totally eliminated scarring from my gall bladder operation over a 1 1/2 year period.

Sanctuary have changed the products in their range and the Skin Brightening Cream is no longer available. I have contacted Sanctuary and they can't point me to any shop that may still have some. The trick is rub the apricot scrub into your skin WITHOUT WETTING IT, then use a HOT wet rag to wipe away the scrub. It will help with the spotting. I had a problem with that too. Mixed blood. Ya know. Anyway, I hope it helps.

I have an issue with some parts of my body being darker than others and want to know if there's any bleaching cream that will give me actual results and an even skin tone. I have to say that I saw visible results within 3 days and full results within 2 weeks. The Black Licorice soap she sells works well too but in my opinion the Kojic soap works faster and better but everyone is different. I would try both soaps to see which one works better for you. For best results get the set of 3 which consist of a soap of your choice, whitening cream and lotion. I promise if you use this product your skin will be flawless and even toned. I have used everything under the sun and nothing ever worked for me but I can surely say this stuff actually works!

hi i want to use skin lightener cream and it says it has 7% AHA hryodxy acid, and i read about it , something about fruit acid and stuff, well how many shades lighter will i be?? like im like christina milian color, so what color will i be if i use skin lightener? well thanks

Reply:IT depends on your skin. Id say a few shades lighter but how many is up to your skin. Think of it as you have a tan it will remove the tan and maybe another shade

About two weeks ago on GMTV the beauty expert said 'she only had such great skin' because of some skin repair cream that you can wear under your foundation. What was it?

I can't wait to get mine! It's about £35 per bottle and I'm in the process of saving my pennies for my next trip to my local Department Store!

they have the Caviar Vitellus Cream which is worth a look (not cheap, mind) This site sells the professional, salon type-products so they do not appear that much on TV. They are used by the bauty professionals as the moeny is spent on the ingredients, rather than TV advertsing. Check out the "Natures Way" range whilst you are there.
